Elizabeth Deutsch
Owner and Director
Elizabeth is the owner and director of We are Talking, Inc., and a Speech-Language Pathologist who works with children and adolescents with speech, language, and literacy disorders.
Her passion for supporting children and families with specific learning needs spans over 20 years of working with special needs populations as a classroom aide in a therapeutic day school, an early interventionist, and a developmental therapist prior to joining the profession of Speech-Language Pathology. Elizabeth holds advanced training in Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking™ program, PROMPT for Restructuring Oral Motor Phonetic Targets (PROMPT), and the Lindamood Visualizing and Verbalizing™ Program (VV). Elizabeth was trained to use Orton-Gillingham (OG) techniques for reading instruction while in graduate school and has pursued training with Nancy Telian’s Lively Letters Program.
Additionally, Elizabeth has a background in DIR/FloorTime Therapy and has sought out training under developmental specialists who understand the value of incorporating multi-sensory learning materials into their treatment. She is licensed by the state of Massachusetts and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Renee Dautel
Speech Language Pathologist

Renee Dautel, M.A., CCC-SLP earned her Bachelors of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida, and graduated from University of Connecticut with a Masters of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology.
Renee has experience working in clinical and school-based settings with the pediatric population, ages ranging from 3-15. Pediatric clinical areas of expertise include receptive and expressive language development, articulation and social pragmatic language skills. She has special interest in childhood language development in relation to academic success. Renee values the relationships she builds with her clients and loves engaging families in the therapy process.
When not working, Renee enjoys exploring her new home of Cambridge with her husband and dog.
Jennie Schofield
Occupational Therapist

Jennie Schofield, OTR/L, is a registered and licensed occupational therapist in the state of Massachusetts.
She specializes in sensory integration and has special interests in trauma and attachment, mental health, parent-child relationships, and nature-based therapy.
She has worked in the field for 7 years with a broad range of diagnosis and abilities. Jennie believes deeply that trusting and collaborative relationships are the foundation for therapeutic gains. She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University. Jennie holds a certificate from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and is licensed in Visual Arts education for pre-k through 12th grade.
In addition to We Are Talking, Jennie practices occupational therapy at a sensory integration clinic in Newton and provides consultation services to several local private schools. Jennie is trained in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and is SIPT certified.
Corinne Huntley
Speech Language Pathologist

Corinne comes to We are Talking Inc. with a variety of pediatric experiences supporting various language learning needs related to disabilities including, but not limited to, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, intellectual impairment, sensory processing disorder, executive dysfunction, language based learning disability, ADHD, and articulation/phonological disorders.
Corinne is well versed in the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, which she uses to help her clients express themselves more effectively. She is highly skilled in selecting and programming the appropriate devices, as well as providing training and support to clients and their families.
Corinne has a deep understanding and compassion for the unique challenges children with communication disorders face within their home, classroom and peer group. She is skilled at developing individualized therapy plans that take into account each child's specific needs and goals.
Corinne is passionate and her dedication to provide personalized therapy services to allow her clients to reach their full potential within the classroom, community, and beyond make her an asset to any multidisciplinary team.
Elizabeth Monteiro
Administrative Director

Elizabeth Monteiro is a Castleton University graduate and holds dual degrees in developmental psychology and early childhood education. She is ABA certified, and working as an ELA teacher in Sudbury, MA for grade 7. Elizabeth has had several jobs that layer ABA, speech, reading, and safety-care into the curriculum. She has personal experience with speech delay and disorder, and experiential knowledge of alternative augmentative communication (AAC) devices.
Prior to her transition to education, Elizabeth worked in the corporate division of Staples for 12 years. She was responsible for website development, training and managing new hires, and developing/testing products to deliver to customers.
