First Visit, Child
At the initial visit, please bring any previous speech evaluations, medical records, educational plans and reports, psychological, and neuropsychological evaluations that provide a clear picture of your child's communication profile. The first visit is typically an informal assessment and all information will be used to determine whether more formal testing is necessary. Parent questions and concerns will be addressed, and observations and recommendations of your child will be provided. This will include the frequency of speech services recommended and suggested activities to carry out at home.
Using information from the initial evaluation, I will implement a Plan of Care outlining goals that target your child's specific areas of need.
Insurance and Funding
I am a participating provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Harvard Pilgrim. Clients with PPO plans from other insurers may be able to receive coverage for my services as well.
Communicating with insurance companies regarding reimbursement is a job in and of itself. I am more than happy to support you through the process of obtaining reimbursement by providing you with the necessary claim forms and my provider information in the event that you do not have the above-mentioned insurance plans.
Co-pays are to be made each treatment session. I accept cash and personal checks. I charge $105 an hour for individual treatment sessions and $75 for group treatment sessions.
